@EGTVEgal Maybe it was the Abramovich era at Chelsea that set the wheels in motion, warped the market and escalated fees and wages to a disproportionate level if you’re looking for someone to blame. It was the first time a club was happy to run at a significant loss and corrupt the system.
@ltarsenal We spent about five years in the wilderness trying to rid the club of c**ts with big egos on inflated wages - I don’t think anyone making the decisions at Arsenal are in a rush to do that again thankfully.
@Brightonian_ Because I think that’s human nature my friend - everyone indulges in some schadenfreude to a certain extent. But to take too much joy in someone else’s perceived failure says more about those people and what’s lacking in their life than it does about any particular football club
