However it is pointless to just complain about other companies ‘stealing’ your product (without pressing legal actions) if you’re not willing to compete with them.

@asbythh @PollefeysHP @BroccLee3 The point of doing that is that people that currently aren’t willing to go through the process of installing forge and the different mods and want a quick to install and easy-to-use experience would be more appealed to using your product(s).

@PollefeysHP @asbythh @BroccLee3 Morally it’s absolutely wrong to steal people’s code, ideas and concepts but it’s not like they can (or at least are willing to) do anything about it. So if you want a part of that money, play the same game as your enemy and compete with them by making easy-to-use clients.

@PollefeysHP @asbythh @BroccLee3 I would do the same. But clearly there are many players out there who would disagree with us. I don’t think it’s very appropriate to complain about a market profiting off of you when you’re perfectly capable of competing with (and beating) them but you don’t.

They could either only include their self-created mods or potentially get in contact with the community creators to give them a revenue share or use other ways to keep them satisfied.
