This song was shared with us at storytime. Simple songs like this are great for kids to make up actions to & memorize. My daughter sings them all the time. They are easy to learn because they follow tunes they already know.

Counting and understanding the amount in word form and how it correlates to other items is a great skill to have. A dozen is a fun one to do with kids as it gives you an excuse to eat donuts or cookies.

Today we did another matching game and worked in some memory work. Only flipped over half the pieces and she could she the other half.
