San Jose, California residents file a lawsuit against the city for their deployment of Flock license plate reading cameras

The people behind this lawsuit say the city has violated the Fourth Amendment by conducting surveillance without a warrant

“Drivers have filed a class action suit against San Jose and its police department over the deployment of nearly 500 cameras, including by Flock safety”

In California Flock camera data has been shared with the federal government as well as nonprofits (which is insane)

Activists also say they are being used to track illegals in San Jose. So I guess this is one benefit
