@0xlelouch_@Ezefabian80 People say if you’re not going to “learn ai” you’re going to get left behind. The reality is that if you’re not learning go you’re going to get left behind.
@chinedu_10 Implement? Sure.
Roll from scratch?..
Depends on your definition of *should*
Developers *should* be *able* to hand roll their own auth from scratch.
Developers *should not* necessarily hand roll their own auth from scratch.
@CodeByNZ Looking for a single person to *do* all of that, yeah. But looking for a single person who *knows* all of that well enough to do it, like, you don’t? If you’re a solo entrepreneur and don’t know most of this then you’re ngmi.
@0xDEADSHAE@lukecodez I thought a lot of core ideas here were a little repetitive if you already have a decent handle on distributed or HA databases. I don’t think the average dev knows db well enough though so I definitely reccomend this!
@ifeel_garv If you think someone can waltz into hft/quant from nodeJS you’re mistaken. You need a master’s or a doctorate in financial engineering generally.
@kurakovictor@ptr_to_joel@arthursolwayne Google around and find the pdf for this book. You can try to use the same DSA in rust if it’s of interest to you:

@jonaskamber@dev_maims For real. I’m happy it’s getting people building stuff, maybe some of those people will get excited enough to actually learn to program.
