Two weeks of this absolute gorgeousness! Me & Vincent are a champion breastfeeding team, Ben is a champion dad & we are in an absolute bubble of love & joy. We worked our way through a tasting menu of both midwifery & obstetric-led care😅…everyone @huhmaternity was INCREDIBLE♥️
This little friend was in a hurry to get his 2024 started and joined us at 0001 this morning, with midwife Hamida there to welcome him. Congratulations to the whole family!
Happy New Year from all of us! We’ve already had our first baby at 0001, who do we call about welcoming the first baby of 2024 in the whole country????
Did you know Santa Claus is actually an extremely talented operating department practitioner who works year round in our theatre department? Today was her last shift before heading out on the sleigh so the theatre crew have come to delivery suite to spread some festive cheer 🧑🎄🎄
Brioche the penguin was gifted to us today and has been busy getting to know his new colleagues, providing both clinical care and moral support. We love Brioche.

Midwife Tamsin is 25 weeks pregnant and got her winter vaccinations to make sure both her and her baby were protected against flu and COVID-19 this winter.

It’s been hectic. We’ve had to make decisions that are challenging for people on occasion to make sure we keep things safe, and we’ve had to work our little scrubs, uniforms and socks off….
Emma & Scott welcomed their baby girl today😍 Supported by our lovely student midwife Naima. We love seeing our students grow into brilliant midwives. Congrats Naima❤️ #midwivesofthefuture
We’re trying to get as many followers as Rishi Sunak so we can show the government just how many people are prepared to fight for the NHS and its staff.

“On Wednesday 24th May, at around 1am, I started feeling some tightenings and a lot of pelvic pressure, so I started timing them. They were regular, around 7 minutes apart, but not too intense and definitely manageable…” Read the full beautiful birth story on our insta page!🩵
A few of our midwives had the chance today to learn about techniques that can help women whose labours have slowed down or need a little help. More tools in our toolkits that we can adapt to lots of different labours and births. Big thanks to @MollytheMidwife for facilitating!
A huge congratulations to Emma and Cesare who welcomed their beautiful baby girl this afternoon. Emma had a dreamy water birth and a labour filled with lots of love and oxytocin! But that’s not all, Cesare had a surprise up his sleeve and proposed just hours after the birth!🥹💜
Team BC wanted to show their appreciation for Natasha and Erin, for being the best, supportive and kind team leaders over the years. Thank you💜 team work really is dream work. #homertonmaternity#homertonbirthcentre
