@KantonLexington @OpinionsInFlux @LUrbaniste We do the exact same thing. At least here in Memphis we do. Suburbs are different in different communities and cities. I saw kids biking or walking everywhere. I walked everywhere with my kids. No movie theater near but pool (table), arcades, and parks are close.

@LUrbaniste IDK, some suburbans over the country are different from others. But the ones here have corner stores, bars, restaurants, doctors, folks selling veggies and fruit on the corner, library and the mall close. Now living in the city, small yard and I have to drive almost everywhere.

@LUrbaniste We planted gardens, some people had livestock like chickens, goats, ducks, turkeys, etc. We had a public bus and school bus system. Lots of stores and businesses, some run out of homes. We liked our 1/2 acre, the kids had lots of running space and our neighbors were 10 steps away

@LUrbaniste I lived in the suburbs of Memphis, TN for most of my life. We had sidewalks on all major streets, just not in some of the neighborhoods. Kids played with each other, rode bikes, rode scooters, played on playgrounds. The Kroger, restaurants, schools, and Walmart were a walk away

@storiesbyryanbs My Grandma liked to read and had a lot of books that weren't kid friendly, but I read them anyway. So, Thorn Birds, The Wedding Bargain by Agnes Turnbull, Salem's Lot, The Prodigal Son, Lots of Stephen King, Agatha Christie, and Romances. They make me think of my Grandma.

@megancarpentier My "period cramps" were adenomyosis. I eventually had to have a hysterectomy. Funny how any other ailment that came with bleeding, possible anemia, vomiting, sudden migraines, dizziness, and severe pelvic, thigh, back and stomach pain would allow you to have time off.

@MaryleeMacD Depends on what you mean. In my head or on paper/ screen? Five on paper/ screen, working: 30-300pgs. 30+ book covers and rear jackets I made 4 works 2 start writing. Several others still fleshing out for characters/ plot/ stories. I get caught talking to myself A LOT.
