Joffre Lakes is one of the places I visit every year. As a proud Canadian, I want to enjoy and admire the beauty of our province and our country. But the NDP‘s approach under DRIPA is creating more conflict, not reconciliation.
Now we are seeing yet another major resource project tied up in court because of the uncertainty this government has created. At a time when British Columbia desperately needs jobs, investment, and economic growth, we are building our own barriers to prosperity.
Whether it’s public park closures or major projects stalled for years, British Columbians are paying the price for a government that cannot balance Indigenous consultation with the broader public interest.
It‘s no surprise that nearly 70,000 people left British Columbia last year. People and businesses are looking elsewhere for certainty, opportunity, and leadership.
This keeps the focus on DRIPA, economic uncertainty, Joffre Lakes, and out-migration while sounding more measured and persuasive.

When the NDP government‘s 2026 budget reduced support for autism families, it sent the wrong message to some of the most vulnerable people in our province.
That is why it was my pleasure to speak at the Professional Development Association in Canada (PDAC) Charity Gala, raising funds for the Pacific Autism Family Network and the important work it does to support individuals with autism and their families.
Thank you to PDAC, its volunteers, sponsors, and donors for stepping up and making a difference in the lives of families across British Columbia

BC is a world-class province, and with the Olympic legacy behind us, we hope FIFA leaves a lasting one too. I was here for the “Raise the Roof” event last year, and now seeing the PNE Amphitheatre’s BC timber roof fully complete, just in time, is impressive.

Our province is known for its vibrant arts and cultural diversity, and I was delighted to attend the 15th International Fashion Show, featuring fashion designs inspired by cultures from around the world. It was also great to try out the new AI powered photo booth hosted by my good friends Michael and Yichen.
Having personally experienced the world class care provided by the BC Cancer in the past, I was especially pleased to see this year's event supporting the BC Cancer Foundation and its important work serving patients and families across British Columbia.

Only the BC NDP government would do something this idiotic.
Naming the Site C dam after a late premier when he and the NDP strongly opposed the project for years. Is that actually respectful to his legacy?

Wonderful to see Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Day of Music bringing incredible performances to the community and making music more accessible for everyone to enjoy.
I still remember one of my first VSO experiences being Symphony in the Park many years ago. Listening to live orchestral music outdoors was truly memorable and something that stayed with me ever since.
Music has a unique way of bringing people together and strengthening our community. Thank you to all the talented musicians and organizers for sharing the joy of music with the public. 🎶

Had a great tour at the new office of Developmental Disabilities Association in Richmond!
Thank you to the team for the warm welcome and for the incredible work you do to support individuals and families in our community here in Richmond. Wishing you continued success in this exciting new chapter!

A productive meeting with Richmond Hospital and Vancouver Coastal Health to hear updates on the Richmond Hospital redevelopment project and the future of health care in our city.
Glad to hear the project is still moving forward, although potential delays remain possible. Another update is expected in August.
I also raised concerns regarding mental health, the toxic drug crisis in Richmond, as well as preparedness for FIFA and potential public health risks such as hantavirus.
Our growing city deserves a health care system that is ready for the challenges ahead.

Another month, another 135 deaths due to the NDP’s failed drug policy experiment, including so called “safe supply” and decriminalization. That is more than 4 lives lost every single day under this government.
We need a new direction focused on education, prevention, recovery, and treatment. One life lost is one too many.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers in Richmond and beyond. 🌸
And a special thank you to my mother for her unconditional love, support, and sacrifices throughout the years.
Wishing everyone a joyful Mother’s Day. 💐

At 4 AM, I stood up in the Legislative Assembly to defend British Columbians’ Freedom of Information rights.
We asked for six months of consultation. Instead, the NDP shut down debate and pushed the bill through.
They’ve already been called one of the most secretive governments in Canada. This only proves it.

Shoplifting in Richmond is rising sharply, up 51%!
I’ve said it for a long time: small businesses are the backbone of our economy. They need a safe and predictable environment to succeed.
Under this NDP government, businesses are facing not only a challenging economic climate, but also growing concerns about safety.
We need a government that will support our businesses and keep our communities safe.

Happy to see Lansdowne Centre hosting the Community Service Expo, and especially grateful to RDLA for hosting the Community Drug Prevention Exhibition.
Bringing the community together to raise awareness and support prevention efforts is crucial to our society.

Today marks one year since the tragic incident at the Lapu Lapu Day festival in Vancouver. It left a deep and lasting loss for the victims, their families, the Filipino community, and all British Columbians.
I still remember that day clearly. The parade in the morning, the street lined with booths, and the many food trucks. It was full of joy and laughter. But just hours later, tragedy struck. When I returned to the scene that night, it was something that cannot be unseen and will not be forgotten.
My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the entire community. For those who are still recovering, including those in hospital, I wish you strength and a full and speedy recovery.
We remember. We stand together.

Reports of a possible kidnapping in my riding of Richmond-Centre are deeply concerning and unacceptable.
Our community deserves to feel safe. Hoping Richmond RCMP can quickly solve this case, ensure the individual’s safety, and bring a swift resolution.
在我所屬的列治文中區發生懷疑綁架事件,令人非常關注,亦絕不能接受。
我們居民需要一個安全的社區,希望列治文皇家騎警能盡快破案,確保當事人的安全,並早日破案。
The government is making Freedom of Information harder to access.
Under this bill, they can use vague and undefined reasons to decline requests, making it easier to avoid scrutiny.
The NDP has already been criticized as one of the most secretive governments in Canada, and now this legislation gives them even more tools to shield themselves from accountability.

Today, the NDP government says it will not bring forward any legislation on DRIPA this session.
It has been 136 days since the NDP Premier doubled down on bringing amendments to DRIPA.
A few months ago, they said they would “go to war” to defend private property rights.
Last month, they warned of significant legal liabilities for the province.
Last week, they said it would be a confidence vote.
Six different positions in just a few months.
This is a clear sign of incompetence and flip-flopping.

Today marks 10 years of B.C.’s toxic drug crisis.
Over 18,000 lives have been lost. Every one mattered.
The NDP’s decriminalization and so called “safe supply” experiment has contributed to this dire situation.
Where is the accountability? The Premier? The current and former Health Ministers?
#richmond #richmondcentre #bc #britishcolumbia #bcpoli
I raised concerns about this encampment directly with the NDP Minister during Question Period. It was downplayed.
Both the City and the Richmond RCMP had repeatedly raised concerns about safety on this provincially managed land.
Now, a life has been lost at this very site.
Should the NDP Minister be responsible for the death of this person?
