Todos sus colegas expresaron frases de reconocimiento por sus grandes contribuciones y excelente desempeño de sus funciones en el Reino Unido .

As Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the United Kingdom I received the new Ambassador of Iceland SE Thordis Kolbrun Reykfadottir Gylfadottir to whom we offered all our support and cooperation. She also retains her function as Special Envoy of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe in the situation of children in Ukraine.

Recordamos hoy el fallecimiento hace 8 de Kofi Annan Ex Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas y Premio Nobel de la Paz . A el le presente las Cartas Credenciales como Embajador,Representante Permanente de Honduras en la Organización de las Naciones Unidas en New York .Su voz sigue presente en quienes creemos en el diálogo , la cooperación Internacional y la solución pacífica de las controversias.

We remember today the death 8 years ago of Kofi Annan Former Secretary General of the United Nations and Nobel Peace Prize winner. To him present the Letters of Credencials as Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Honduras to the United Nations in New York. His voice is still present in those of us who believe in dialogue, international cooperation and the peaceful resolution of controversies.

Message of Solidarity with the People of Colombia 🇨🇴

I express my deepest solidarity and closeness with the brotherly people of Colombia in the face of the devastating earthquake that has shaken the country on this day, causing pain, uncertainty and affectations in various communities.

In these moments of deep dismay, we send our deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones, as well as our wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured and our closeness to all those who have been affected by this tragedy.

Colombia is not alone. The historic bonds of friendship, brotherhood and solidarity that unite our Latin American peoples acquire an even deeper meaning today. We share the pain of each Colombian family and recognise with admiration the strength, courage and spirit of solidarity with which the Colombian people face the most difficult moments.

We also express our gratitude to the authorities, relief agencies, medical personnel, response forces, volunteers and citizens who work tirelessly to protect lives and provide assistance to those who need it most.

May hope, unity and solidarity accompany Colombia in these difficult hours and give it strength to overcome this adversity and move towards recovery and reconstruction.

Our solidarity, our affection and our fraternity are today with Colombia and with all its people.
