@gmcconnaughey@Reddit really sorry to see it, man. Glad my project was just a passion project and not a company. I can't imagine how devastating this must feel for you today.
@arstechnica@RonAmadeo I'll be curious to find out how this affects my own browser extension for Reddit. Only time will tell, I s'pose. We've not been informed of anything directly.
Just got off a call with Reddit about the API and new pricing. Bad news unless I come up with 20 million dollars (not joking). Appreciate boosts.

I don't even know if my browser extension, Reddit Enhancement Suite, will be destroyed by this or not. Glad sites like @verge are covering this. It's a big bummer.
Not sure if you're able to share, @sarah_edo, but I'd love to know if an audible version of your book is in the works? I have focus challenges w/paper books but would love to check it out!
@TheAmyCode Everyone in here cheering for their team but leaving out important details.
Each option supports various browsers and mobile platforms at some varying level of quality. Chrome, Firefox, safari, Android, ios all have their own quirks.
You can try both for free. I suggest that.
@sd_architect@TheAmyCode Certainly a personal choice, but given their recent breach (not their first, either), I believe that yes that's the implication here and the belief of many.
This year people wrote >1.5M docs with @textio! High-scoring jobs saw 33% more women and 17% more non-white candidates applying. This is why we do this work. Thank you for being our partners!!!
@GergelyOrosz This talk I attended several years ago now was great. Granted, by sharing it in this thread I've sort of spoiled the punchline a bit...

The most "political" meeting I regularly attended, as an EM, was the performance calibration one.
Managers going in with enough preparation, the right allies, enough influence, could do right by their reports. Those without couldn't always get the outcomes they wanted.
Today one of my team said to me that he thought my job was to create the conditions where people could choose to be happy at work, and the rest was up to them. I really love this way of expressing the power and boundaries of management.
Supporting open source software is fun. (note: I didn't reply in this thread, I would have been nicer if I did, but I probably had the exact thoughts that were replied in here)...

@michaelsayman I realize it's niche, but I would be sincerely thrilled just to have usable, human-readable class names so I can write custom CSS and/or write custom JS to enhance/customize twitter. (it's kind of a habit of mine).
Admittedly niche, but arguably likely a small lift.
@jensimmons I am 100% cognizant of the (probable) fact that extension dev isn't Apple/Safari's top priority and that my reasons are niche and may be unimportant -- but the question was asked, and so here's my voice/answer. :)
@jensimmons further, the timeline/commitment to reaching parity with what an extension can do in Chrome/Firefox vs Safari is muddy at best. Certain functionality in more advanced extensions is simply not possible in Safari (while it is in other browsers)
