@Funminz@DHKRULLAH Totally agree to this. Mostly those who had a good source of income and whose marriage is less than 10yrs or have kids less than 10yrs.
@Funminz@DHKRULLAH I agree. But those are the roles majority find themselves in. The job market is a mess now even for IT roles mostly if you have no UK experience. In healthcare some agencies even reduced their hourly rates cause there are more people willing to take them.
@Funminz@DHKRULLAH Compared to women in terms of marriage, men are more tolerant. Yeh, it isn’t. Migration, work, home, then black tax, all these stress are too much for some to handle. I wouldn’t blame them if they choose to go back. The rate of divorce among Nigerians here aren’t also helping out
@Funminz@DHKRULLAH Stress is relative. It’s left for the individuals affected to say which location stress they can manage. A lot of men in such situation I have spoken to actually moved cause their wives convinced them to. Healthcare or warehouse jobs drive a lot of them crazy here.
@Funminz@DHKRULLAH Yourself and stay, sooner or later you might either loose yourself or the family. Women are not tolerant when stress starts affecting your daily life as a man. This mostly applies to those in healthcare
@Funminz@DHKRULLAH The truth of the matter is if as a man you feel the stress is too much on you and you truly believe you are better off going back to Nigeria, then it’s best you go. The world has changed and family abroad isn’t really as smooth as it was back then. If you choose to force …
Humans spent centuries writing books, essays, articles, and research papers.
Then we used all that human writing to train AI systems to write like humans.
Then we built another AI system to inspect the writing and say, “This looks AI suspiciously.”
So now we have one machine trained on humans to sound human, and another machine trained on humans to figure out whether the first machine sounds a little too human.
And after all that, a stressed human still has to make the final call.
@Blossomaffia UK for example. If I hire someone local for a job, I am protected by consumer law. Whereas if I hire someone from Nigeria, I am taking a huge risk. Why then would I want to pay same rate? This is same reason lots of companies now have their call centers in India = ‘Cheap labour’
@Blossomaffia There is a reason lots of international companies hire people from third world countries. This isn’t a Nigerian in abroad thing, it’s a normal practice. If the price is same as in their country of residence, they are better off hiring someone local to them.
@OgbeniDipo Common Dipo, hope you haven’t let the politics of Nigeria affect your thinking. Anyone born or bred in Lagos is a Lagosian, 042 for enugu, Otu for onitsha. Dickson hasn’t claimed Yoruba or Lagos indigene in anyway. Same thing in Uk. Btw, English-= England, Scottish = Scotland
Guys, it’s okay for a man to cry…but never in front of your woman.
Do it privately, gather yourself quickly, and don’t wallow in self-pity. Life is unfair and nobody is coming to save you. Wipe your tears, set your face like a flint and go again!
