The funny humble moment when Pope Leo XIV takes a rapturous applause at his first meeting with the journalists gathered in Rome today. #PopeLeoXIV#Pope#Catholic#catholicchurch#rome
@vallelucas@CatholicGirlAR I like Laudate, but iPieta has the writings of the church fathers, a whole different respository of prayers and an easy to follow format for anyone new to the Mass.
@LucyGoBag In my 40s, my mortgage is due for renewal, went into bank. ‘Oh we don’t do face to face anymore it’s all online’. I don’t wish to speak to someone over teams for an important financial decision!
@SepsisUK Thanks for yet again being a voice of reason Ron. I had to tell my 9 year old daughter that the ‘dramatic increase in cases’ she heard about on the radio were normal for this time of year.
@DoctorTro I’ve had outright lies…
Asked what bacteria they were looking for in a sputum sample for relative with hx of TB in 1940s. HiB and pseudomonas was the answer. When the test arrived they were looking for acid fast bacilli (which was prudent but they could have told me!)
@Rewster7 Completely agree. Minichiello had the best game of any man I ever saw play rugby live. GB vs Aus at the Etihad c2005. Sean Long could have kicked the ball to Liverpool that night and he would have caught it and returned 30 yards…
@DrHFRyan Completely agree. It also concerns me that many people come out of University thinking science is about “facts” rather than the scientific method of experimentation and observation. That would make scientific dogma a little more difficult to propagate.
