Every founder I've worked with has said a version of the same sentence:

"It's faster if I just do it."

That was true once. It stopped being true about eighteen months ago and nobody told them.

We probably have about 3 years left where human labor still earns real money the way it does today.

After that, more and more of it gets automated to the point where wages stop scaling the way they used to.

This could mark the end of labor-based capitalism as we've known it the model built on trading hours for a wage, stacked over a 40-year career.

Right now, there's a window of information asymmetry. A few people see this shift coming. Most are waiting until it's undeniable. That gap between "seeing it" and "everyone seeing it" is the actual opportunity.

What to do with that window: convert time into things built to survive the transition hard assets, compute, energy, food production, ownership stakes, not just wages.

A wage is essentially rent on your time. Automate the time, and that rent collapses. Owning scarce, durable things becomes the way out.

The people who spend these next few years building real ownership will look like they were years ahead, in hindsight.

When wages stop compounding the way they used to, ownership is what's left standing.
