Make me understand chair how does one pay for what you cannot negotiate for and as a facilitator in the tent how are you helping the situation. I visited Ugandan tent next to Kenya and you can’t compare.
There is nothing Supkem can do on this particular matter- it is a responsibility of the Ministry of Hajj and UMRA of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Upon payment, we are allocated a space and tents. We don’t chose the location of the tent and number of toilets therein- it’s done by the Saudi Government based on the number of pilgrims. We welcomeanybody’s support including that of our government.
The most important thing is to correct this mess and if your organization has any role to play please own up and apologize, I was heart broken to see an old man literally urinating on his Ihram @WilliamsRuto@HonAdenDuale@major_bashir@KoechNelsonK@alimaalim
@HonKolosh Mheshimiwa, this is not denial as you put it- it’s putting the record straight. The DG did not ask the role played by SUPKEM but he condemn the organization on a matter that is beyond it.
The denial by Supkem is annoying! instead of making general statement Supkem chair should tell us what is their role in:
1. Accrediting agents 2. Collections of fees from agents in advance for booking 3. And whether chair is in the tent as facilitator or a pilgrim like the rest.
Again you miss the point! If you are honest and genuine and now that you claim to know the role Supkem plays, you should actually not be talking about toilets and space in the tent. Get the facts right and engage. You can also check the NUSUK card on your neck and call the number provided for incase if you have a complain. Further, Kenya has an embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia- you can as well reach out to them the same way we have done. That could a better contribution from your part. The rest are side shows that benefit none. Eid Mubarak!
