PPF leadership has come out to dismiss reports that they are negotiating with Museveni’s brother to facilitate the release of Dr. Kizza Besigye, who has been in detention for years.

Watch and see what happens with this fishing expedition. As if they are deaf! PFF issued a statement - no negotiations, the family @Winnie_Byanyima issued a statement: we want bail not unprincipled negotiations. The next day the DPP opens a door? Who will go through it if KB refuses and insists on a full pardon or a fair trial? Government has several objectives here:
1. Cleaning up their mess
2. Creating the belief that they forgave KB
3. Creating division in the opposition (Team Negotiations vs Team No Way)
4. Calming the rising political temperature against military brutality.

Their major problem here is the protagonist: Dr. Kizza Besigye.
