Can I tell y’all a secret? It still blows my mind to go viral for just being “real.”

My prepared remarks have never gone viral, but when I deliver raw, unadulterated, usually frustrated, truth, it’s like the algorithms go wild.

With that being said, I’ve had the most exhausting yet rewarding 2 days. I did 7 events in 5 cities! And the best part of it all, was YOU, the people!

Thank you Houston, Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, & the ATL! Each of you reinvigorates my fight for a more perfect union! We can & will get this done if we just dig deep, WORK, & believe. As unlikely of a story as I am… I’m positive that we can make the unlikely a REALITY! 🙏🏾

I am deeply appreciative of Dallas for its commitment to inclusivity for individuals of all ages, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Today, I had the opportunity to tour Oakland Lawn Place, a housing program conducted by the Resource Center for aging LGBT persons 55+ in the metroplex. This initiative focuses on providing affordable housing and access to essential medical resources.

I had an outstanding time at the annual Dallas County Democratic Labor Day picnic, where I connected with other Democratic leaders and organizations. We engaged in meaningful conversations about how to turn Texas blue and mobilize our youth voters! #getoutandvote

BREAKING: three @DallasPD officers have been shot following an incident in the South Central division.

Two officers are at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in downtown Dallas, and the third is at Dallas Methodist.

A heavy police presence is at Baylor right now.

After the officers were shot, a chase ensued toward Lewisville where the suspect was shot.

Specific conditions of the officers right now are unknown.

Suspect information also unknown.
