This just proves that hyperscalers are willing to spend more money on data centers, nothing about AI demand.
In fact, they are increasing capex even though their free cash flow has turned negative. Look at Google.
Furthermore, most AI users are still on freemium, not premium. I’m not bearish btw, it’s just that $BE’s earnings really don’t prove AI demand.
@coinbureau People don't use Bitcoin to buy dinner?
Not true. Someone bought two pizzas with Bitcoin back in 2010.
Also, I noticed he tried to compare Bitcoin with gold when he said, "By the way, over the same period, gold made a strong gain."
I dare him to buy dinner with gold then.
US national debt is partially true, currently is around $38 to $39 trillion.
But the "interest payment about to surpass GDP" is nonsense. Net interest on debt is roughly $1 trillion per year, GDP itself is around $32 trillion, that is just 3% of the GDP & is nowhere near surpassing it.
The "only way to cover interest is to print enough money"? is also incorrect. The US government has plenty options, they can raise taxes, cut spending, grow economy faster than debt, borrow more & etc.
Also in hyperinflation, stock price could go up on paper but destroy in real value, inflation erodes real wealth. And even if price fall down, global economy wouldn't collapse, it will just restructure into new one.
