1 whole week since we visited the bug farm! 🐞🪲🐜We had a fabulous time! We learnt so much from our visit! We got to handle the creatures, visit the museum and bug zoo, before enjoying a delicious lunch and fun play in bug olympics area…

Our learners loved their immersive day … completing many fun jobs to support our topic of ‘On Our Doorstep’. The children all looked fantastic in their costumes for our bug ball! 🕷🐛🐞#fourpurposes @hook_primary

We began the process looking at mini beasts habitats, then created our own little homes. We revisited the homes to see what materials the mini-beasts liked best to live in, before finally designing and creating our own ‘Hook Hotel’ @hook_primary #fourpurposes #outdoorlearning

We were very lucky that Mr John could come and pick up our celebratory cards to send the Queen to congratulate her on her Platinum Jubilee 👑💂‍♀️🇬🇧 … we hope they got delivered safely and we get a reply from the palace 🤞🏻😉

It has been great fun exploring our muddy garden this afternoon. We chose what jobs we wanted to revisited from over the last term… Cooking in the mud kitchen, den building, mud painting and car racing down the tunnels. @hook_dolffin @hook_primary

We had great fun celebrating comic relief down the ‘muddy garden’. Children used natural resources to make faces with a red nose and enjoyed a tasty cake in the sunshine 🔴🧁🌳🔆@hook_primary
