در برلین تصمیمی گرفته شده است که مردم ایران را به حاشیه براند، صدای آنان را خاموش و از جمهوری اسلامی دلجویی کند.

در این برهه‌ی مهم برای تغییر در ایران، مایه‌ی خرسندی من بود که برای شرکت در کنفرانس امنیتی مونیخ دعوت شده‌ام. اما وزارت امور خارجه آلمان (@GermanyDiplo) با مداخله‌ی خود، مانع از حضور من در این کنفرانس شده است.

این اقدام وزارت خارجه آلمان، این کشور را در سوی نادرست تاریخ قرار می‌دهد.

در حالی که دولت آلمان به سیاست مماشات با جمهوری اسلامی ادامه می‌دهد، من از مردم آلمان می‌خواهم ��ه نه فقط برای آزادی ایران، بلکه برای آینده‌ی خودشان، در کنار ایرانیانی بایستند که برای حقوق بشر و دموکراسی مبارزه می‌کنند.

من، همراه با هم‌میهنانم، کارزار خود را برای رهایی ایران و جهان از چنگال رژیمی که سال‌هاست بشریت را با باج‌خواهی و ترور گروگان گرفته است، ادامه خواهم داد.

این تصمیم نه برای خاموش کردن صدای من، بلکه برای خاموش کردن صدای ملت ایران بود. این تصمیم برای حذف همه‌ی کسانی بود که در راه آزادی، عدالت و کرامت ایستادگی می‌کنند—و ما در برابر آن تسلیم نخواهیم شد.

با وجود تمامی تلاش‌ها برای خاموش کردن صدای ملت ایران در این کنفرانس، من به مونیخ سفر خواهم کرد.

زیرا اگرچه ما در پایتخت‌های خارجی به دنبال دوستان و متحدانی برای این راه هستیم، اما می‌دانیم که آزادی‌مان تنها به دست خود ما رقم خواهد خورد، نه به تصمیم دولت‌های خارجی.

این ما، ملت ایران هستیم که سرنوشت خود را تعیین خواهیم کرد—و تا زمانی که پیروز نشویم، از پای نخواهیم نشست.
