Hi Ateneo @ateneodemanilau
Sana mabasa niyo ito bilang alumnus niyo.
Ayaw kong tumalima sa institusyong hungkag ang moralidad at ang pagkiling hindi sa mga biktima.
Kailangang may managot.
it's not anti-feminist to be a wife or mother, what counts as anti-feminist is when that becomes the default expectation on women and choosing to be so is deemed "natural" and the telos of womanhood.
this is to logically challenge yung loaded question ng specific tweet na to hehe
the question kasi seems to presuppose that choosing to be a mother is intrinsically feminist which is not especially feminism stemmed from deracination, and cultural rebellion. 1/x
maybe a hot take (the way the qrts are reacting) but isnβt it also feminism if we let women decide and actually want to be a mother and a wifeβ¦. women empowerment isnβt a one size fit all no?
just because women can also choose to be wives and mothers it doesn't mean the system is fair and that tradition isn't enforcing gender roles especially when wives are expected to be subservient to men. also, do not conflate feminism as anti-motherhood
