On paper, clippers are the clear favourites but they could run into the sa,e problems they’ve had in the past with too much star power. Lob city had the talent and the depth but couldn’t go anywhere. We may have a similar situation on our hands.
LeBrons accolades may not be on the same level as Kareem (could go either way) but his impact is unmatched. That’s why he’s number 2 on a lot of people’s lists.
Phil Jackson on Mike and Kobe - “the only difference between those two was one had 6 and the other had 5” - even Phil admitted they were pretty much the same player. #1and2
MJ didn’t have weak competition but you’d be stupid to think he’d win in Brons shoes in 07, 15, 17 and 18. If I had to bet on it I’d predict him to go 5-4. Still better than 3-6.
Karl Malone is second in all time points but because he has no rings no one even considers to put him in the top 10. I’ll take Malone over Bill Russel any day of the week.
The pressure for Lebron to exceed Mike is ridiculous. For the amount of hate he gets he handles it so well. I hate his fans because of how subjective they are but other than that I’m extremely grateful to be witnessing one of the greatest ever.
A lot of people seem to forget magic won finals mvp in his rookie season. That is the best possible award you can get. Some all time greats never get that. Let that sink in.... #greatness#top5
Honestly seems like a fairly respectable list. Wilt is too high though. Statistics aren’t as important as accolades, especially considering the era he played in.
Based on the criteria Harden deserved to win nevertheless Lebron its seasons like this where Bron exposes how flaud the selection process is. Doesn’t take into account the post season at all🤔💀
Crazy to think COVID-19 may have held LeBron back from winning his 4th title and possibly 4th mvp. Oh and ultimately him becoming leader in all time points😳
