@xantracat I was certainly expecting something a bit more conventional whether it was something differential like RS485 or a UART at at 12V levels. Bit of a mystery how they do bus arbitration~

I didn't expect this. Both T and R lines signal the same thing at the same time. Bit period looks to be ~500us so this could be 2400 baud. 12V single ended logic levels is a helpful to have confirmed too. Time to fit some snooping wires and reassemble the panel.

Back onto the rkp reverse engineering. I've decided I need to know about what happens on the wire of a working system if the rkp I've bought won't tell me anything. Luckily, I've hit hacking lvl 100 and can perform a tamper switch bypass.
