My book, Hope Deferred, was BOTD on Aug. 30th. Honestly, the best part was conferring with readers who didn't share the book's spiritual worldview. They were civil, constructive, polite and always found something encouraging. You have the best readers out there!
@josephochieng65@TwBookClub@WestBowPress Thank you, Jose. Despair is a good word to describe the feeling of long term suffering. Our family, through learning to trust Jesus, found acceptance, joy and even peace even before the answers came. Hardships will still come but despair doesn't have too. Thanks for posting.
@BentimKenya @TwBookClub@WestBowPress I hope you can read it, Bentim. I tried to pass on some great truths that empowered and strengthened our family even before the suffering ended.
@Donnie12138152@TwBookClub@WestBowPress Hey Donnie, Thank you for taking time to read the review and even comment, even though you say it isn't a good fit for you.
@gayan_kangkan @TwBookClub@WestBowPress Wow! Feelin' the love from this post.
Did have to look up the word 'bibliophile' though. Feel smarter now.
Thanks for the cool endorsement, Kangkan.
@NelDannie@TwBookClub@WestBowPress Thanks, Daniella. I have heard back from many women that have found encouragement and renewed faith to get through their suffering after reading Hope Deferred. We all need hope :).
@ShrabasteeC@TwBookClub@WestBowPress So kind of you to take time to post even though it isn't a good fit for you! Although, sometimes it's educational to see a different point of view, and find out why someone becomes empowered in life because of a decision they have made.
@ebooksloverftw @TwBookClub@WestBowPress Oh Rei, I hope you do. No one should walk a rocky road alone!
Thank you for reading the review and posting :).
@sweetcherrylov4 @TwBookClub@WestBowPress Ahh, that is new to me, Claudia. As a big gardener in Kansas, harvest means a time of celebrating, the waiting is over!
Thank you for taking time to post.
@truebookaddict @TwBookClub@WestBowPress Well, thanks for taking the time to post anyway, Michelle.
If you ever consider the claims of Christ and want to see the changes he can make in a life, I hope you remember 'Hope Deferred'. :)
