An 18 year old of South Sudanese national, both parents born in South Sudan, has been sentenced to just 4 years jail for two truly shocking crimes.

First, the Flemington assault Feb 2025:

Then a juvenile, he coward punched Valentino Arop, 36, from behind in a housing tower car park, then repeatedly kicked and stomped on him while he lay unconscious on the ground.

The victim suffered a catastrophic brain injury, spent months in hospital, and is left with permanent disability - largely unable to speak or work, needs a walking frame and support for basic tasks, and can no longer properly play with his own kids.

Judge called it “cowardly and inhumane.”

Three months later in May 2025:

Nine days after being released on probation for other crimes, he was drunk, unlicensed, speeding in a stolen SUV, carrying a machete, and on bail when he ran a red light in Tarneit.

He crashed, killing his 16 year
old mate Kevin Olenga and leaving another life destroyed.

Chief Judge Amanda Chambers took into account his youth and “extremely difficult childhood” with “frequent conflict between his parents born in South Sudan.”

He could be free in just over three years once time already served is counted.

One stranger permanently disabled.

One mate dead.

Soft sentence. Same pattern.

No consequences for Anthony Albanese’s immigrants, no matter what carnage they leave behind.
