As we honor Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and we also remember the courage and sacrifices of those who fought to make it possible. May we continue working toward a future where every person can live with dignity, safety, and opportunity.

Whether it’s governors, mayors, or school boards, the leaders we choose will make decisions that affect our daily lives for years to come. That means no matter who’s in charge in Washington, we can still make progress on health care, affordability, gerrymandering, reproductive freedom, gun safety, climate, and so many of the issues that matter to us.
