Little bit of planning being done every few days..strange how much my little sketches resemble my planning when I was a graphic designer.. definitely transferable skills coming in good use.

Brilliant experience today at my new job assisting with a fantastic sand casting workshop by @CastInnovLtd. Students and staff alike were engaged and enthusiastic.. there's nothing like learning by doing!

Last day of my teacher training placement today. What a challenge it's been! Everyone has said how Covid has changed everything for our cohort but luckily we didn't know any different, I'm proud of us all for just getting on with it but here's to simpler years to come!
So proud of my year 9 Food group, they have developed so much over the last 8 weeks in my lessons. I don't know who has learnt more though, them or me :) !

We were finally able to get into uni for some practical experience alongside health and safety training this half term. Big thank you to our lecturers at @SHU_SIoE for all their hard work to make it covid safe for us!

This year has been really tough and a serious challenge which has almost broken a few of us in our cohort. So a big shout out if you've got through teacher training especially this year. 6 days left & hopefully QTS #teachertrainees2021#challenge#teachertraininginapandemic
Passed my final PGCE assignment with distinction. Trying to celebrate my successes, something that I don't find very easy or comfortable doing. Anyone else struggle to give them self credit? Imposter syndrome is real #celebratingsuccesses#wellbeing#success#teachertraining
This wk's yr8 lessons were on isometric drawing. I haven't previously done this myself let alone taught it so I needed some assistance. Thankfully this legendary book was on hand along with some fantastic colleagues at @OutwoodShafton in the @DepartmentOas to get me up to speed.
