@smallbreamboy@TheMrLoophole Works both ways. Each have legal and regulatory obligations. As the vulnerable road user it's common sense to expect that drivers will regularly fail in their obligations (e.g. truck left turners). Don't put yourself in harms way just because you're "in the right".
@bremboy1@blaiklockBP You joke, but the offending rates are far worse in the US than here. As is the homicide rate. The threat of death does nothing to prevent offending and the risk of miscarriage doesn't justify it.
@pmarca The thing is, if AI was doing what it was supposed to, it should affect jobs.
I suspect business are struggling to make it work efficiently enough, yet.
@robin_j_brooks@PolemicTMM Can't see how the fundamentals can change without issues being forced. Iran doesn't want to lose the ability to develop a nuclear weapon. Trump doesn't want to put boots on the ground. Israel doesn't want to stop ethnic cleansing Gaza and the Lebanon.
@rfj1966@PhilSipocz I was in Wasdale over the bank holiday Sunday. Absolute disgrace. People smoking weed and listening to loud music on the fells. Folk doing 'fashion shoots' in the streams. The road blocked up by idiotic parking. People asking "where is the way to..." every 5 minutes. Fuck off!
@wesstreeting Mandelson knows the relationship with Israel is interconnected with that of the US, meaning if you want to keep one you might have to tolerate the other.
As it happens I think it's worth dropping both, but that's just me. Mandelson likely disagrees.
