@SkyHelpIreland hey it’s been almost 24hrs since internet has dropped in Kildare. I work from home so it’s causing quite a head ache. Are you able to respond with an estimate fix time? Thousands of customers seem to be affected
@SkyHelpIreland My broadband is down in the Naas Co. Kildare area. Router and ONT are working fine. It looks like its area wide as there are a few others on twitter mentioning the same issue.
Fascinating timeline emerging from the appearance of RTÉ executives at the media committee yesterday.
March 2023
Early March - Deloitte flagged issue regarding payment to Ryan Tubridy to CFO Richard Collins. DG Dee Forbes was informed around the same time. CFO said he had no discussions with Tubridy before his decision to stand down on 16th March. He's unsure if Forbes did.
March 16th - Tubridy stands down as host of Late Late
March 17th - Board claims this is when it first became aware of the Tubridy payments issue.
June 2023
15th June - Dee Forbes has her going away party.
16th June - RTÉ Board receives Grant Thornton report and DG Dee Forbes is asked to resign by RTÉ Board.
19th June - RTÉ Board meets about Grant Thornton review and says that Forbes is on annual leave.
21st June - RTÉ Board suspends Dee Forbes as DG.
22nd June - RTÉ Board issues statement on Tubridy payments. Siún Ní Raghallaigh appears on RTÉ news where she fails to mention that the Board requested Forbes to resign as DG on 16th and suspended her as DG the day before.
26th June - Dee Forbes resigns as DG. Board accepts resignation freeing her from obligation to appear at Dáil Committees later in the week.
27th June - RTÉ Board issues comprehensive statement placing blame for entire situation at the feet of Dee Forbes and said she was the only member of Board in a position to know all details.
Incredibly coincidental and convenient sequence of events. One might even say the timeline is scarcely believable and stinks to high heaven. The entire RTÉ Board should resign.
@Independent_ie They’ve been aware of this for months! I was in contact with them 7 months ago after I got this bill. I haven’t heard from them since. This is a domestic gas bill (excluding electricity
@mattsanderson84@AerLingus Have you departed for Leeds yet? I’m waiting in Leeds to board the return flight to Dublin. No updates here, the delay keeps getting pushed out.
@fun_h0use@BMW_UK Nothing back on my end either. Absolutely ridiculous that the feature can just disappear. It seems to be quite common but @BMW_UK aren’t even acknowledging it! The sat nav is virtually useless now
@McClaffAM @JRudden3 @lidl_ireland Same in aldi, Lidl, Dunnes and Tesco in Dublin. Everything from own brand stuff to ballyvolane and river rock is sold out.
@UberEats order never arrived but the app says it was delivered. Trying to sort this out the last hour and getting nowhere with the driver or the restaurant.
@NOWHelpTeam Cant log in to my account. Keep getting the same error "Unable to connect to sign in, please try again later". Tried restarting laptop, clearing cache+cookies etc. Nothing works!
@IrishRail I’m just after getting another email now saying the service is cancelled. Can you please confirm if I’m able to travel or not. This is absolutely ridiculous carryon!!!
@IrishRail I am booked on a train from Clonmel to Dublin Heuston on 6th April at 17:13 and back to Clonmel on 8th April at 08:00. I just got an email to say the service is cancelled. When I check the journey planner the services are still listed. Whats the story?
