Just like every year, I'll be sharing about my the #KubeCon + #CloudNativeCon Europe (in London this time for the 2025 edition) but... not here!
I've fully migrated over to Bluesky, and this tweet will likely be the last one here.
Stay tuned at https://t.co/UWgiPbPeVl 🙂

Et sinon, les stats parlent !
A l'année prochaine peut-être ☺️
Missed my talk on Friday at @BreizhCamp about tech incidents management (theoretical & personal convictions + experience feedback @PayFitEng) ?
While waiting for the recording, here is the content (in 🇫🇷) I presented: https://t.co/8KjlrCOLez
Reach out if you have questions!
Missed our talk w/ Caroline Becker yesterday at @breizhcamp about how we got away from a monolithic hell of a MongoDB cluster at @PayFitEng ?

Go go Edouard Siha at @Breizhcamp : explaining all the awesome internals of the @rustlang compiler 🦀 All the way from the common stuff to the deepest optimizations through MIR inspection. Incredible visualizations of the borrow checker work on lifetimes, and optim examples!
Let's go for the @Breizhcamp 2024 conference in Rennes, starting today and featuring 3 speakers from @PayFit : Caroline Becker + @Horgix talking about @MongoDB & how to get away from a monolithic hell, and @MartinBahier talking about @OBSProject ! May the force be with them 🚀
Outstanding first talk for this @Breizhcamp 2024 edition ! Benoît Masson & Sébastien Chédor live coding a QR Code reader in Golang in 2 hours, going through the detection with OpenCV, the data extraction (metadata such as version, etc) & error correction - super complete! 👏
Though that also includes the random holidays bookings during lunch break, logging in personal email to check something right after work before leaving the office, etc.
Essentially looking for other points of view on the resulting dynamics and implications!
How do you all deal with invasive device management agents on your professional laptop by your employer? Do you trust your IT dpt. enough? Just carry a second device for personal usage? Stopped caring and accepted the risk of logging on personal accounts despite company malware?
When saying "personal accounts" here I'm thinking about things such as GitHub, Twitter, community Slack workspaces, etc. that can definitely be used legitimately in a work context despite it being with personal accounts (GitHub without SCIM, Twitter for conferences sharing, etc.)
Yesterday we had the pleasure to host the MongoDB Paris meetup at our @PayFit office, featuring great talks from our engineers (@Horgix & Laurentiu Capatina) and Han Héloir from @MongoDB
See you again at @Breizhcamp & @KanDDDinsky, reach out if you want to host meetups with us!
Next week I'll talk (with a colleague) about our experience with MongoDB at @PayFitEng ! 🍃
... about how we went from a single shared self-hosted cluster with tons of bad patterns in its usage, to a way saner, stable and future-proof situation 🙂

In a week from now, on Tuesday 4th June, @PayFit will have the pleasure to host the MongoDB Paris meetup!
Incl. a talk sharing our own experience and plans with MongoDB at PayFit, by @Horgix and Laurentiu Capatina 🎉
See https://t.co/RY5iN5koiS for more and to signup for it!
We got an email from the Serbian Registry of Internet Domain Names (RNIDS), the organisation that is responsible for the `.rs` top-level domain.
Looks like they are a big fan of Rust. 😊
