@slowmiracle@soonrightaway I think in ADPs case complexity is being used as a supplement for substance. They are painfully un-polarizing, they give nothing to critique as they are incredibly talented and give nothing else. It feels tepid

Theyβre not giving into a groove as much as they are formulating a series of equations in lieu of a pocket. Modulating into 21/8 does not make me want to dance, it draws the attention away from the music into the performer
