Not once did @GregAbbott_TX mention Uvalde yesterday. The second anniversary of the worst school shooting in Texas history and the governor doesn’t say a word about it.
What a piece of shit.
For nearly 22 months, we have fought for our 21 angels. We have driven countless hours to speak with politicians to plead for changes to gun laws. We have raised our collective voices at meeting after meeting, demanding action be taken to hold those responsible who let our babies die.
In October 2022, I sat outside the Uvalde CISD administration building until the entire police department was suspended so we as a community could have a sliver of accountability for the failures of May 24th.
It has been more than a week since the Uvalde City Council called us all back together again at the civic center to unveil what can only be described as biggest farce of an investigation since the shooting at Robb Elementary. When they refused to act at their meeting on March 12th or to address the JPPI investigation any further, claiming the needed more time, I decided to do what they couldn't - I acted.
For a week now I have camped outside the Uvalde Police Department, refusing to leave or be silenced until their officers are held accountable for their blatant FAILURES. Lt. Javier Martinez, SSgt. Eduardo Canales, and Det. Louis Landry need to be FIRED for allowing children and teachers to be slaughtered inside of Robb Elementary.
They got to the school within 3 minutes of the gunman's masacre but sat around for over an hour until hundreds of other law enforcement backup arrived. They lacked the testicular fortitude to save their lives and they will continue to fail us every day they stay on the job.
All of my life I have wanted to be a dad and the best man I can be for my family. By starting this protest, I have done that and showed them what it looks like to stand up for something you believe in. But being a good dad also means I have to be there for them. My family needs me home. Even though I'm not outside UPD anymore, that won't make me any less of a thorn in their side. We won't stop until every person who failed us that day is held responsible for sitting idly by as our loved ones were slaughtered. The fight rages on, the emails and calls that have been sent have made progress, we must continue them.
To all who have supported us, I can’t explain how much it means to me. Where our community is divided you all have shown us what it’s like to be supported.
Much love.
I need y’all’s help.
I’ve been sitting outside the police department since March 13’th, demanding that Lt. Javier Martinez, SSgt. Eduardo Canales, and Det. Louis Landry be removed from employment.
My son Uziyah was murdered in Robb elementary on 05/24/2022.
There were 376 officers present, and they waited 77 minutes before going inside the classroom to eliminate the shooter.
Many lives could have been saved had they acted.
It’s been almost two years and these officers have not been held accountable.
There have been four reports made, three indicating the severe failure of officers, while the other was paid for by the city to “exonerate” the officers and literally says it was prepared for anticipation of lawsuits.
As I stated earlier, I need your help. Calls and emails to the city council, the mayor, the city manager and the chief of police are needed. Below are links that were created to easily send an email to them, and I’ll be posting the numbers as well.
We’ve also included the county commisioners, although they have no say so in the city, they are leaders in this city and have influence.
Please send emails, and please call demanding these officers are held accountable. They had the training, the experience, and the tenure to do what is right, yet they let our children die.

Nearly every TX R has bent the knee to Trump & turned their backs on TX. But @tedcruz is in a lower league & darker space. Ted's cloying, annoying, desperate submission to Trump is stomach-turning. Surely - whether they say so or not - he disgusts the few Rs w/ any self-respect.
