Lab grown are more ethical, less occlusions, cheaper for more carats so you’ll get a way bigger and better ring for your money
Why would anyone want a natural one atp
Lately, I’ve noticed more and more men choosing lab-grown diamonds for engagement rings. I’m curious how would you feel if your partner proposed with a lab-grown diamond instead of a natural one?
Obviously, not everyone can afford a natural diamond, and I completely understand that. But personally, if I found out after the fact that my ring was lab-grown, I think I’d feel a little disappointed. Part of it is that natural diamonds tend to hold their value better over time, and to me they symbolize something that’s lasted millions of years kind of like the idea of building a relationship that’s meant to last.
That said, I also know the size, design, and the meaning behind the ring matter too, and everyone values different things.
And obviously to the human eye, we can’t tell but a real jeweler can distinguish it and I don’t know why but I find this interesting.
