The issue is reproducible: install Gmail → +57 GB → delete Gmail → System Data increases → restart → storage returns to normal → reinstall Gmail → +57 GB again.

it moves to “System Data,” which can exceed 85 GB. Restarting the iPhone makes the extra storage disappear, but reinstalling Gmail brings the 57 GB back again.

I’m on iOS 26.6. Is this a known bug with Gmail/Google apps or iOS storage management? Any suggestions?
