@TheCritninja Some banks have been offering decent rates for 3 year fixed. Latest forecast I saw was talking about potentially one more rise this year before rates slowly easing over time. Choosing variable depends on your appetite for risk with the hope of lower rates in the future

@djmcbreen The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka is a great day trip from Tokyo, need to book in advance.

The Kyoto Manga Museum is another good one, it’s in the buildings of a former primary school. Has a few rotating exhibitions and a massive library collection you can sit around and read freely.

From memory it is feasible but very dependent on the building floor plate design, make sure it can handle the weight loads
