@Andretti_222@TommysHawk@SamHuseby@WriterJesse No. If the defender doesn’t have the ball and isn’t fielding a ball, the runner actually has the right to that space. Running wide around second is legal until a tag attempt creates a base path. if the defender is standing there and contact is made, that is absolutely obstruction
@RealThe830@RicoBlaccIsBack@Hawknut32@SoxOn35th I’ll accept these terms, I can understand being upset if you believed he sought it out. I think differently but that’s alright. It’s just a game, glad we can all enjoy it.
@TommysHawk@Andretti_222@SamHuseby@WriterJesse If you don’t have the ball you can’t be anywhere near the runners path. People are ignoring that a base path isn’t established until tag attempt. Arguments against that are fundamentally incorrect which is why I believe its not worth interacting with, they lack core understanding
@RealThe830@RicoBlaccIsBack@Hawknut32@SoxOn35th Wow what a strong arguement though if everybody saw that then why are so many people arguing otherwise? You’re seeing what you want to see brother, just like when the white Sox broadcast that said he’s practically in the outfield grass, complete bias.
@RealThe830@RicoBlaccIsBack@Hawknut32@SoxOn35th He matched his trajectory preceding, touching a second base. It was a predictable pattern. He did not extend outward towards the outfield more than he did between first and second base arguing otherwise it’s just grasping as straws.
