You were duped. Again.
We all saw the “massive” walkout from the UN general assembly. It seemed like Bibi was talking to en empty room. Some journalists even reported that. Even some Israeli journalists made that claim.
Guess what. The media lied to you. Shocked?
Here are the facts.
The footage is real. As Netanyahu walked up to speak, dozens of diplomats got up and left. It looks like most of the world refused to listen to him. Some even called it proof that Israel is now a pariah state.
And now, reality.
More than 120 countries stayed. That's nearly two-thirds of the world.
All five veto powers stayed: the U.S., China, Britain and France.
So did most of Europe. Even Ireland, one of Israel's toughest critics remained.
So who walked out? And why does it look like so many?
Each country gets six seats in this hall, so when one delegation walks out, several people stand up and walk.
And the Palestinian mission had asked countries to bring as many staff as possible and walk out together.
That can make a walkout bigger than the number of countries behind it.
In Europe, Spain was the only major country to leave its seat empty.
In Latin America, Brazil walked out.
South Africa's seats were empty too.
The rest were mostly small Caribbean island nations, which skip most speeches anyway.
Even in the Muslim world, at least two countries, UAE and Bahrain, stayed.
The walkout was real, but most of the world stayed in the room.
Just thought you’d wanna know the truth.
It’s true @georgegalloway the IDF is the most moral army in the world. What other army feeds its enemies, gives medical care to its enemies, gives advance warning to its enemies.
But as a sycophant of Saddam Hussein we can’t expect you to know the difference between truth and lies.
Since 2015, the UN has passed 188 resolutions condemning Israel.
That's more than twice as many as against the rest of the world combined—Russia, China, Iran, and Venezuela included.
Yet diplomats sat politely through a speech from Iran, a regime that has killed thousands of its own citizens and still persecutes them.
It's not about human rights. It's blatant anti-Israel bias.
The walkout by so many countries, which had listened with respect to the leader of Iran's gang of genocidal butchers, demonstrated with absolute clarity why the Israel they want to destroy is today absolutely essential to defend the Jewish people against those countries themselves.
Ed Miliband is an evil man.
No decent person shakes hands with Araghchi, envoy of a regime that slaughtered tens of thousands of Iranian protestors, raped women in its prisons, hangs the survivors, and treats Britain as a target.
He should resign tonight. Disgusting. Free Iran!
Wait, so our oh-so-ethical Foreign Secretary won’t talk to Israel but has a friendly sit down with the representative from the Islamic Republic of Iran which killed 40,000 protesters in January and is still killing protesters?
The world grows ever more upside down.
“We must be guided by our values. Effective alliances are built on values as well as interests.”
-UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham
Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran who have slaughtered tens of thousands of their own people.
The number-one orator on the globe takes the UN stage, holding up a jarring mirror to a world that refuses to see the truth.
A heart-stirring sight:
Bibi enters the hall, and the cowards flee. 🤣
Netanyahu looks straight ahead—primarily at the cameras, at the world—and begins his remarks without backing down.
No apologies.
No hanging his head.
He looks straight ahead—at the hall, at the cameras, and above all at the world—and opens with sharp words:
"Before I begin, if there are any more moral cowards here who haven't left the hall, please leave now."
Then he looks back 14 years:
"Fourteen years ago, I stood at this podium and drew a red line: I vowed to prevent Iran’s murderous dictatorship from developing nuclear bombs."
Then comes the sentence that illustrates the magnitude of the decision:
"Destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities was difficult. It was very hard to do.
But for me, it was one of the easiest decisions I ever had to make.
If we hadn't done it—we would all be dead."
And he continues:
"Israel is also defending many of the countries whose representatives walked out of the room." "Leaders thank us for striking Iran’s nuclear program."
Then Netanyahu turns back to October 7:
"On October 7—the darkest day in Israel’s history—thousands of terrorists invaded Israel."
From there, he moves to the war that has been raging for three years:
"Israel’s enemies expected the state to collapse—but that did not happen.
We fought like lions.
For three years now, we have been fighting on seven fronts."
Then comes one of the speech's most powerful lines:
"There is an eighth front in this war.
It is the war for the truth."
The war for public perception.
The war for the narrative.
The war for Israel’s right to tell the world what really happened here.
And Netanyahu does not stop there.
Here—at the speech's dramatic climax—he attacks the tyrant Erdogan for the first time:
"He is a tyrant.
He hosts Hamas’s terror leaders.
He has slaughtered thousands of Kurdish civilians.
He denies the Armenian Genocide; he imprisons journalists and opposition leaders.
In fact, I think he holds the world record in that regard."
And addressing the harsh accusations leveled against Israel, he says:
"Despite the pain, despite the suffering, we do not surrender. Your sacrifice will not be in vain." "We will continue to defend our country."
And this is perhaps the heart of the entire speech:
Israel does not apologize for its very existence.
Israel does not relinquish its right to defend itself.
And Israel does not intend to let others write its story for it.
Then Netanyahu turns his gaze to Jews around the world:
"Hold your heads high. Carry yourselves with pride. Do not be afraid."
Wow.
A masterfully crafted speech.
You might agree.
You might disagree.
You might argue.
But it is hard to remain indifferent to a speech like this.
Netanyahu on the UN stage—facing a cowardly hall,
facing international criticism and the world's cameras—chooses to speak in the clearest voice possible:
Israel will not stay silent.
Israel will not surrender.
And Israel will continue to fight for its truth.
Wow, wow,
quite a speech.
Kudos to the Prime Minister.
Remember what I am writing here.
This speech will be talked about for a long time.
And this speech will determine the fate of the government here.

Gaza got justice and freedom in 2005.
But that’s not Hamas’s objective. Hamas’s objective is the annihilation of the Jews and the destruction of Israel. Instead of prosperity, Gaza got islamonazism. Now they are getting their well deserved comeuppance. @mehdirhasan
UN Secretary-General António Guterres said: “I have never seen killing and destruction like Gaza in all my years as Secretary-General.”
According to even the most critical reports, Guterres, 70,000 people were killed in the war in Gaza, a large proportion of them Hamas terrorists.
During your years as Secretary-General: more than 600,000 people were massacred or starved to death in Ethiopia.
377,000 died in Yemen — that figure appears in reports issued by your own organization.
150,000 were killed in Sudan and 12 million were displaced.
Hundreds of thousands have been buried in Ukraine.
You didn’t see it? They died before your eyes. You simply looked the other way, because the Jews couldn’t be blamed.
The IDF is the most moral army ever.
Genocidaires do not provide food and medicine to their enemies.
Nor do they engage in hand to hand combat when they could carpet bomb their enemies.
Nor do they warn the civilian enemies of where the next area of action is going to be.
But there was a genocide. It took place at a party in Israel on 7 October 2023 when those self proclaimed genocidaires, Hamas, slaughtered 1200 partygoers and took a further 250 hostage. So @mehdirhasan away with your antisemitic rhetoric and vile support for the genocide of the Jews of Israel.
