I’ve spent 8 years grinding in sales and run a small online business on the side. I like money, business, and side hustles, from stocks and startups to real life lessons from the sales floor.

Full disclosure: I don’t have it all figured out. I’m just a normal guy trying to level up. I’ve got a car payment, a mortgage, and a wife I love spoiling with dinners out. I stick to a budget, but I also make room to actually enjoy life. I mess up. I learn. I keep moving.

What really gets me fired up? Investing. Not just in the stock market, but in businesses, ideas, and people I believe in. Watching growth, financial and personal, is addictive.

Spirit sold people on loyalty. Stack the points. Earn free flights. Play the game.

Now a lot of cardholders are opening their accounts and asking the same question
Where did my points go?

Balances wiped out
Expiration policies tightening
Redemptions getting harder to find

It’s the risk nobody talks about with airline ecosystems
You don’t own your points
They do

And when a budget airline starts struggling, loyalty programs quietly become a liability instead of a perk

So the value gets pulled back
Devalued
Or just disappears

It’s a reminder
Points aren’t savings
