Everyone in India, crying about OTT subscriptions draining their money. Let us do the math.
Top tier of every major platform in India:
Netflix Premium: ₹7,788; JioHotstar Premium: ₹2,199; Prime: ₹1,499; YouTube Premium Family: ₹3,588; SonyLIV 4K: ₹1,499; Spotify Premium: ₹3,588
Total: ₹20,161/year
On a Let's say ₹55k/month salary, that is 3% of your annual income for unlimited entertainment, 24/7, 365 days a year.
If 3% is breaking you, the subscriptions are not the problem. Your money management is.
Cable TV was ₹500/month for one TV, fixed timings, ads every 10 minutes.
One movie ticket today is ₹300-500. Family of 4 with popcorn = ₹2,500 in one evening.
In reality, This is the cheapest entertainment era India has ever seen.
Alia bhatt rightly said that Why Indian cinema only makes movies for Men these days?
75% of Cinema going audience in India these days are Men because industries are only catering 1 sex and ignoring the other. That's why there's such a high rise in mass cinema...Romance is dead!
so embarrassing man. cannes is a global movie stage & this her 2nd appearance, yet nobody knows her, no pap flashed a single camera at her. who is she waving at? none looks interested. serious aura deficit! 😭
In India, sons get the credit for “taking care of parents.” But the son just sends money. The daughter-in-law does the actual work. Feeding, night shifts, all of it. For two strangers she didn’t grow up with.
We called free labour “sanskaar” and nobody questioned it.
People hate capitalism until the same system starts paying their bills. Nobody is risking their life on a boat to reach Cuba or North Korea. The migration only flows one way and we know where
But I will be honest, one human holding 100-400 billion dollars is insane too. Capitalism with guardrails is the real answer. Not socialism!
When a woman gets married, she is expected to pack her entire life into a suitcase and move into her husband’s home. Her parents, who raised her are expected to live the rest of their lives alone (considering they have only 1 child, i.e., Daughter).
But here is what bothers me....If her parents can manage alone, why can’t his?
If her mother and father can wake up every morning in an empty house and still get on with life, what makes his parents so special? Why is she the only one expected to leave everything behind, adjust & compromise?
And the moment a wife says, let’s move out, let’s build our own home, let’s still take care of our parents but live our own lives, suddenly the man becomes emotional that "How can she ask him to leave his parents?"
But his wife left her parents. She left the house she grew up in. But when she asks him to do the same, it becomes an insult to his family.
Why this double standard? Why is sacrifice only a woman’s job?
And then what happens? She moves in. The mentalities don’t match. The in-laws have opinions on what she wears, how she speaks, how she laughs, what she cooks. And instead of the husband standing up for her, he stays silent. Because his parents are his parents. But what about her? Is she not someone’s daughter too?
A man cannot demand a woman leave everything for him and then refuse to do even a fraction of the same for her. That is not love. That is not tradition. That is one-sided sacrifice!!
If her parents can live alone, so can his. Men need to stop hiding behind culture to avoid being fair.

Clavicular’s friend, who’s another looksmaxxer, explains he cries all the time because the tears make his hair SOFTER 😭💔
“I take the tears and put it in my hair, it’s like sea salt spray., it makes my hair softer”
Aamir romancing with an adult 39yo Woman is far more moral than Ranveer Singh (40yo) romancing with Sara Arjun (19yo) in Dhurandhar btw
They now only have a problem with it because he's a KHAN btw
The biggest lie we were sold is that patriarchy is a man’s game. It isn’t...It runs because women keep it running. Your mother-in-law isn’t oppressing you because she’s evil. She’s doing it because somebody did it to her 30 years ago and nobody came to save her.
Think about who actually polices your clothes, your weight, your cooking, your womb, your tone with your husband, your decision to work, your decision to rest. It’s rarely the men. The men just benefit.. The enforcement is outsourced to aunties, mothers, mothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, the WhatsApp group of female relatives who have opinions on when you’ll have a baby.
A lot of these women aren’t villains. They’re hostages with Stockholm syndrome running orientation for the new hostages. They ate the same crap you’re being served. They were told their silence was strength, their sacrifice was love.
The way out isn’t hating her. It’s refusing to become her...Break the chain at your generation. Don’t perform the same cruelty to your daughter-in-law in future
#WATCH | In his address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, "Today I'm here to discuss an important issue, especially for the women of this country. Every citizen of this country is witnessing how women's progress has stalled... Despite our best efforts, we haven't succeeded. Amendments could not be made in the Nari Shakti Adhiniyam. And I apologise to all the mothers and sisters of the nation for this.”

The 131st Amendment was a total scam. They used women's reservation as bait to smuggle in a delimitation bill that guts the South's political voice. Imagine punishing states for actually investing in education and health while rewarding the North for overpopulation.
The fact that the 131st Amendment Bill actually flopped in the Lok Sabha is good. 298 for and 230 against, so they weren't even close to that 352 target. It is actually the first time we have seen a major BJP bill just tank like that in the Lower House.
They sold it as this big moment for women’s reservation, which let's be real, is way overdue. But then they stuffed the delimitation stuff inside. It is a classic dirty move.
They bundle something everyone wants with something super controversial so if you vote "NO", they can just point and scream that you hate women
Pushing the seats from 543 to 850 sounds okay on paper, but look where the power actually goes:
- UP jumps to 143 seats.
- Bihar nearly doubles to 79.
- The South gets a total slap in the face by actually losing seats.
It makes zero sense. The southern states contribute something like 35% of the GDP with only 18% of the population. They did exactly what the government asked for decades and focused on literacy, health, and family planning. Now the "reward" for being responsible is losing their political voice? It is like being the only kid in class who did the homework and then getting punished because the other kids didn't.
If this had passed, the Hindi belt would have basically owned the electoral map for the next 30 years. That is not a democracy, that is just rigging the game by redrawing the lines. I am 100% down for the 33% women's quota, but you don't use it as wrapping paper for a power grab.
Federal structure actually dodged a massive bullet today.
Shame on BJP and whoever supports this kind of Anti India Bills!!
