In your recent interview, you stated that those killed during the past few days of protests in #Iran were individuals who lost their lives amid the chaos surrounding demonstrations. However, as an #Iranian-#American journalist, I wish to present to you a harrowing video from the city of #Fardis, a city where I grew up and where my family still resides.

Last night, several of my brave and freedom-seeking fellow citizens in this city were killed by the forces of repression of the Iranian regime. They were killed while pursuing the very freedom that you have publicly praised and encouraged them to seek.

You have, on at least two occasions, clearly declared your support and stated that should the Iranian regime engage in the killing of its own citizens, you would respond decisively.
