@WarMonitor3 Good thing Canada doesn't take the same stance with the US who takes 96% of our oil. Chances are high that jet fuel comes from Canadian oil. Im sure tanker captains would rather spend a night in Paris, rather than Corpus Christi Texas
@Bannonmeharder@Diddy597813@nationalpost All-inclusive holidays, expensive coffee and upscale casual dinning exist because demand from the generation after GenX. Us GenX folks benefitted from the cheap boomers who stayed home, drank grocery store coffee and brown-bagged their lunch, but they did pioneer mutual funds etc
@Bannonmeharder@Diddy597813@nationalpost Know anyone under the age of 35 that's been on s hot holiday? You can count the number of Canadian cities over 147M people on two hands.
@oasis0572@nationalpost Disagree. Average house price is $673000, including some pretty expensive addresses. Average income for a university undergrad is around $70,000 or higher. Note I said small town. Not one of the big expensive cities.
@justRyan77@bomac_macbo@x_RWCM@CTVNews People use memes cause they lack a full command of the English language. Second would be rudimentary insults. That might be a clue to election performance. Moral of the post, get a clue.
@x_RWCM@CTVNews Agree, but for some unknown reason he bills himself as a leader for the workers. Odd choice for the once plausible conservative party. Im a centre right person BTW a former PC. They lost me.
@CTVNews Some Aliance mouthpiece asked on here how we could save money and blamed Carney, a successful business person. Maybe this would have been better a way. This dudes a grifter.
@oasis0572@nationalpost My small town house was just under 4X my salary. I had a deficit disposal income. Couldn't afford kids or even a coffee I didn't make myself. To blame older folks for being responsible is misguided and falls on deaf ears.
@E_IS_Ferguson@nationalpost Nope, find any kid that thinks of work as a means to future success, not a means to a Starbucks, a game or a future hot holiday. I think you missed my point. Ask most employers who they'd rather hire.
