I’ve wanted to write about one of the biggest misconceptions about her so here it is:
Kanade Otonokoji and Love
…and also why not every character is made to be able to be shipped.
this will be long but worth it… I hope! HUGE spoilers for SDRA2 obviously
@Theater_Bread13 thank you... I wish strangers would not try to be as creepy as they are... probably my lesson to be even more careful than I already am revealing stuff about myself online. can't even be a little vulnerable and say you haven't figured out everything about yourself. 😬
Gonna say it in a main tweet because I was getting people being extremely weird about it. Don’t poke at my gender identity or sexuality thanks. You know nothing about if I feel or if I feel comfortable talking about that topic. I don’t. A lot of you people do not remotely know me
To this parasocial fuck still on my strawpage: have you ever questioned your identity before? You surely were in the process of that at one point, no? maybe wonder that question before you start being such an utter freak to strangers on the internet on the internet.
actually no I will say this. You’re saying “I get not wanting people prodding at your identity.” No you don’t. You don’t get shit. you literally *did* prod my identity over a joke I made bouncing off of a *lesbian* friend calling me a lesbian. Roll your eyes and move on, dork.
@PERMAD0G they think it’s justified because they’re doing this over a joke I made to a lesbian friend who called me a lesbian where I said I’m the king of the lesbians. like. as if that’s not obviously making a purposely absurd joke
@_Buckadeer seriously cannot believe I got people being so weird to me over that tame of a joke. a joke where the punchline would be That Would Be Stupid.
@_Buckadeer I don’t even really know what to say about it… it makes me so uncomfortable when people talk about that with me and box me into stuff. I just want to be me. I don’t have to prove myself to strangers online.
@kazuhikoCult The best one is the end of her free time events where she just starts calmly explaining about how she’s superior to her sister in every single way as if that’s a normal thing to say whatsoever.
one of my favorite tropes is when someone is super well spoken and seems super smart, but then you slowly start realizing over the course of a conversation or scene, "this person is nuts!"
this isn’t to any of the replies on that tweet, some weirdo on my strawpage.
It feels shitty even saying this publicly but I think it’s important to make a point out of it. Don’t be so comfortable asking strangers things like that, you don’t know them.
