Our new book has been a huge hit. The very hungry caterpillar’s creepy-crawly Halloween. It sparked mark making/drawing of Halloween characters and minibeasts and moving like spiders and beetles

For world food day we have ventured to America for roasted garlic and pumpkin hummus. Then off to Africa for Bunny Chow. We made our own pizzas from Italy.

Today we were noticed our tree losing its leaves for Autumn but how big is it. We took a photo of Olive and the tree. It is approx. 45 ft tall. We then used the blocks to measure Olive she is 11 blocks high so the tree is 99 blocks high #ambitiouscapablelearners

We had our first birthday of the new school year. Covid was not stopping us celebrating so we made a cake to blow out the candles.

Today we found a woodlouse. We wanted to know more about them so we went on the internet. One of our little stars knew they curled up when scared but we found out that woodlice skeletons are on the outside #healthyconfidentindividuals #ambitiouscapablelearners

@NurseryNook I am not “plant based” but I do avoid processed foods. I prepare a weeks packed lunches on the weekend (and quite often breakfast and evening meal too).it’s just a case of packing it up in the morning. There are a lot of plant based recipe videos on YouTube for planning ahead
