I am to be @housedog no longer and as I said, if I want to grow, brother, I need to stop scrolling, be it on x, fb or the guardian news feed. Or even the right wing online sites I seek out to replace the hit I get on x. I never see you as a robot. But I admit I sometimes think you're not some guy in ohio working for doordash and working in some other job. But the geese look real. And I can't just be on here chatting to you. I either try and interact with other strangers or I literally fall into my books, my writing, and build my own thing, even if I have the digital skills of a 2 year old.

I don't think I'd welcome being goosed atm tbh or anytime.
But as I said I'm not going mad. I've observed the sway, momentum, verve, and the integrity of the site and the algorithim, and my view has consistently been that Elons tweaking has wrecked the site because he's just made it Twitter but for the right. Politically that might create waves, like the anti grooming gangs campaign- it did create change, but just because it has power as a political tool doesn't mean its an entertaining site and the failure of AI to provide a mission for X that makes the site is possibly even reflected in the drop in the share price of SpaceXai. The increasingly far right stance of Elon is making it a site primarily for die harders. Elon is the one who is failing at all to be objective about the trajectory. I however have embraced as someone from the centre left a huge amount of what he put forward but the site has not supported even one iota of what I've suggested - if you believe in ai and believe extreme identity politics is ruining the academy but fail to offer any support to someone who goes and confronts the academy like David with Gokiath then you're basically insincere. So I found out. Plus writing is a very hard business. I'm 2 years off 60. I have wasted a lot of time and perfecting writing is going to push me to my limits. As will learning enough tech to market my work if I have to and try and do what neither x nor blue-sky are doing. Create a creative social media that is safe and not bouncing off soundbites and one liners and click bait. Turning America against itself is making the US weak. Iran is Argentina and the US is England. You have kept me here and also tried to support me but in doing so you've kept me here. True friends know when to let go.

Probably as interesting to me is the other idea that the algorithm rewards good content and that bad content is deprioritised when so much of the garbage on here is just regurgitated political shite of the one main strand. But in all seriousness how can I maintain a presence on a site that tells me under its safety policy the word "niggers" is OK and in fact I see that word so many times. There is no free speech on this app. EM has decided the only way to fight extreme identity politics etc etc is to be as extreme in the opposite so we now have a heavily slanted site that is full of like minded people. From outside of the centre right Matrix for sure. While it's true the app has made me think differently EMs plans for a new world are as flawed as all the other plans and the site is a toxic lagoon. I have found your posts interesting especially the insights into some kind of family life while clearly slaving away at x.
