Anyone consider she might be a night worker about to get some much needed rest as soon as she sees her babies off to school? I've known lots of moms who did just that and they'd be all ready for bed right about the time their kids got on the bus. I don't understand why people care so much what others have on.
What is considered a luxury item? And if someone on snap buys those, then they will be spending most of all of their food allotment in one place, correct? So why does it even matter what they decide to buy? I'm not saying we shouldn't have education programs for people on snap to help them make better food choices, but ultimately the government isn't spending any more on them if they decide to blow their monthly deposit on lobster or caviar. They're just gonna be hungry until next month.
@DrEricDing He wasn't forced to. It was his choice. So who cares? It's also his choice to eat McDonald's and drink soda on the regular. I'll skip that for myself too thanks.
@allenanalysis I don't understand why they didn't just open the door and get out of the car? If I'm pulled over, I follow instructions. You can always ask questions and seek legal advice later.
He was saying we should question what the media is saying about Israel. Then he goes on to ask Ben about what some in the media have been saying regarding Israel ethnically cleansing Palestine. He wanted Ben to debunk that accusation . It seems obvious by the way he asked the question and who he was asking.
I agree that we do not need the military policing city streets. It should never have been a suggestion. But the reason it is currently on the table is because the police in many blue cities have been prevented from doing their jobs. The BLM movement and other leftist agitators put pressure on local governments to defund their police forces and hyper focus on racial issues . Unsurprisingly that turned into a disaster.
@JebraFaushay Okay but why didn't Christians complain when Jesus was depicted as white all these years? If depicting Jesus as something he wasn't is offensive now, wasn't it offensive the
I think they're both talented people. This musical s meant to be somewhat subversive and to make folks rethink and reframe the Jesus story. When Christians agreed to spread the story of Christ and made Christianity a major world religion, they put Jesus out into the world for interpretation and from all sorts of people. Not everyone is going to agree with your version of your faith. If you're confident in your relationship with God, what's the problem?
I live near a major college town in upstate NY and we are absolutely overrun with hippie boomers. They seem so desperate to reclaim the excitement of their radical youth, it's ridiculous. Especially since most of them spent the years between their college graduation and the present day participating in and benefitting from capitalism and American liberty.
