With this space we aim to build solidarity, capacitate narrative justice & connect youth to several organisations with interests in art, poetry, climate activism & media training.
Housing Assembly through @LRCSouthAfrica applied for the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) on the housing waiting list & they reveal inconsistencies of the @CityofCT on housing allocation policies that have marginalised the poor.

The @CityofCT is sitting with a staggering 365 000 applicants still waiting for housing. There isn’t an official updated housing waiting list.

On 7 October, the @CityofCT published a notice stating their plan to lease of the Green Point Bowling Green at a nominal value of R3 000 per annum.

But this morning, the people in the District 6 parking lot were again visited by the City’s Law Enforcement Unit who tore open and searched the homes of the people despite being interdicted not to.
