@Steven_Swinford My 79 year old Granny is just over the threshold, and does not qualify for any benefits to help with cost of living. Loosing this extra help she has in the winter has me worried. More cuts are coming across all the nations, we all knew this was expected.

@jenw151 @BBCSport I’ve just paid for the £3.99 on discovery+ via Amazon prime so I can watch all events. I’m a fan of artistic swimming and will want to watch it all. I’ll just cancel the sub when Olympics and Paralympic’s are over. BBC can only show two streams at a time apparently.

Add in really messed up hormones and the physical/psychological effects from that and honestly, I’m feeling a bit burnt out. At least my lungs have been behaving, thanks to a weird pollen season. Small victories.

So grateful to work for a company who prioritises a work/life balance and have a 30 hour 4 day work week, with no reduction in pay or benefits. I haven’t stopped today between physio, dentist, errands in town and housework but means I have all weekend free to relax. 😊

Watching Criminal Minds: Evolution and I am not liking the constant dark scenes even when in the office. Are they trying to make it more gritty looking? It’s awful.

@HappyConveying @implausibleblog I was wondering this as our new fixed rate is very close to what it was when we purchased in 2019 (can’t remember exact percentages). The drop in rates during and just after covid also has a big impact as it’s then been a sudden jump for those who could only get short fixed terms

@implausibleblog Part of the problem as well was during covid interest rates were so low & fixed terms short. Then the disaster budget has led to huge price hikes for some. We bought in 2019 and are very fortunate that our new fixed rate is similar to our previous rate so only £60 more a month.
