@igorhansachat@MarkVillacampa I know places in Italy that sell their house wine for €6/litre. Not prize winning but very drinkable with their excellent food
Being a train driver of many years, I’m aware of the scenarios that might’ve have caused the rail collision near Bedford today. However, I won’t be speculating.
For those who are, especially those who don’t work on the railway, please stop.
Just let RAIB do their job.
@moving_charlie The biggest upfront cost in conveyancing is the local search. Make them instantly available for free. The tax gained on increase in transactions would easily offset the loss in revenue for councils. It's all on council databases.
@Mr_NickClarke@MortgageMikeN2@financial_shaw Absolute sc also matters.
Imagine a £100k flat. Service charge is £100/month. That's 1.2%. I would worry that mgt co is UNDERSPENDING and saving up trouble for future.
£600/month on a £800k flat in modern building is 0.9% but that's a massive amount.
@SecretConveySol Pray you don't get anything complex. They will ask umpteen stupid questions and when their stupidity prevents them from comprehending the answer they will wait a month before sending umpteen stupid follow ups
@afneil And the centre right have peddled the same fib in reverse - that we can cut tax and still have Scandi grade services. The problem is really the electorate who prefer the comforting lie to the harsh truth.
@talledcombs Largely they didn't. The Italian diaspora tended to be from the poorer south (Sicily, Calabria, Campania etc.) not the richer north as featured in this picture
@kelvmackenzie Yes but what reputation was Roman Polanski defending when he successfully sued The Atlantic in London, despite not being required to attend court because he would have been extradited to the USA?
