And it’s today. The 12th of July.

Almost 1,100 years ago, on this exact day, England became a country. Almost no one knows it.

The island was old long before it had a name. Farmers. Romans. Saxons. Then out of the sea came the Danes. ⚔️

They came to raid. They stayed to farm. And one hard question hung over the whole land.

Two peoples, Saxon and Dane, one small island. Whose country was it now?

Alfred of Wessex held the last corner and turned the tide. But he wanted more than a truce. One country. For both peoples. One England.

He died before he could build it. 🔥

So his family finished it. His son took back town after town. His daughter Æthelflæd led the armies herself. A woman commanding armies more than 1,000 years ago.

But it was Alfred’s grandson who ended the work.

Æthelstan.

In 927 he rode north and took York, the last Viking crown in England. One man now held every English kingdom.

Then he did something stranger. He called the other kings of Britain to a bridge in the north. A quiet place called Eamont. 📜

Scots. Welsh. The kings of the north. There, by the river, they bent the knee.

And that morning he took a new title. Not king of Wessex. Not king of the Saxons.

King of the English. All of them.

That bridge, on this day in 927, is the closest thing we have to the morning a country began. ⚖️

He made it real. One law, coast to coast. One coin, struck the same everywhere. On it he wears a crown, not a war helmet.

Then in 937 they came to destroy it. Vikings, Scots, the men of the north. The largest army the island had ever seen. They met him at Brunanburh.

Dawn to dark. Five kings fell. And when the sun went down, Æthelstan was still standing. 🏛️

England had been tested. And England had held.

He left no son. He died in 939 and chose a quiet abbey at Malmesbury. Alone, in the country he had made.

But it never came apart. Every king and queen of England since has sat on the throne he built. More than 1,000 years. Unbroken.

You were taught 1066. The Tudors. The wars. But not this. Not the king who made the country. Not the bridge. Not the 12th of July.

Æthelstan. The first king of England. And the one we forgot.

Next year it turns 1,100.

England has a birthday. And now you know when it is. 🇬🇧

Just built this space battle game with Grok 4.5 in Grok Build, and it absolutely nailed it

I literally gave it a simple two-line prompt, asked it to research the idea and build the game, and it did the rest

A few back-and-forth tweaks, and took a free low-poly spaceship model, and Grok handled the integration surprisingly well....even the sound effects

Now I can’t stop playing it. It’s actually super fun.

We spent 4 years calling out the Democrats for covering up Joe Biden’s mental decline, and now Republicans are doing the same for Senator Mitch McConnell @SenMcConnell, who is brain dead.

Mitch McConnell was found unconscious in his home on June 14th. He was reportedly in cardiac arrest and there is verified audio circulating of a 911 call where emergency services were requested at his home in DC on June 14th, the same day his staff confirmed he was hospitalized.

On the call, you can hear the operator say a man at Mitch McConnell’s home was found unconscious in cardiac arrest and that CPR was being given.

That means Senator McConnell needed to be resuscitated. That’s the whole purpose of CPR.

Once a person goes into Cardiac Arrest, it cuts off blood and oxygen to the brain, which causes brain cell injury or death, known as hypoxic-ischemic brain injury.

McConnell was found unconscious and nobody is telling us how long he was unconscious for. If he was unconscious for more than 5 minutes, he 100% has severe brain damage and is a vegetable.

A person is usually pronounced completely brain dead if they are unconscious and in cardiac arrest for more than 10 minutes.

CPR on an 84 year old man is very dangerous and likely broke all of Mitch McConnell’s ribs.

Giving CPR to an 84-year-old man can be life-saving, but it comes with significant challenges. Survival rates to hospital discharge for this age group are roughly 15%. Because older bodies are frail, vigorous chest compressions often cause severe physical trauma, including broken ribs or a sternum, and a prolonged recovery process and permanent physical injuries.

It’s 100% confirmed by the 911 audio that McConnell was given CPR.

This would mean he is on oxygen in the hospital and any strain on his lungs or chest would impact the ability for his ribs to heal. There is no way an 84 year old man who was given CPR following a cardiac arrest did 2 hours of back to back phone calls with US Senators and @ScottJenningsKY.

A broken or bruised rib makes it painful to expand your chest and it makes speaking difficult because talking requires controlled breathing, which can trigger sharp, stabbing pain. When a person has a rib injury, breathing or speaking deeply can be very uncomfortable. People who have broken ribs find themselves taking shorter, shallower breaths or avoiding conversation simply to manage the pain.

McConnell’s doctors would NEVER allow him to be on back-to-back phone calls for 2 to 3 hours. It would severely damage his ability to recover three weeks after he was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest. His oxygen levels also wouldn’t be high enough to talk that long.

We are being lied to because some RINOs don’t want the Save America Act to pass and they would be more than happy if Kentucky’s Democrat Governor @AndyBeshearKY was able to appoint McConnell’s replacement so Democrats could move to impeach President Trump and further block the Save America Act.

This is a massive cover up.

Turns out fewer than 1 man in 10 could vote in the year Britain banned the slave trade. No woman could. Your ancestors could hang for stealing a sheep, get shipped across the world for petty theft, or go down a mine at 8 years old. In Manchester, the average age of death in a labouring family was 17.

They weren't running the slave trade. They were underneath it too.

Which is what makes what happened next worth knowing.

In 1772 an enslaved man named James Somerset walked free from an English court, because English law couldn't hold a slave.

In 1791, 300,000 families just stopped buying slave sugar. No march, no riot, just a decision made at 300,000 kitchen tables.

In 1792, 519 petitions carrying 390,000 names hit Parliament, most signed by people who couldn't vote themselves.

In 1807, Britain banned the trade.

Then the slave owners sent Britain a bill for the 800,000 people they still held. 💷 £20 million. About 40% of the entire government budget at the time.

The Treasury says it wasn't paid off until 2015. So if your family paid British tax before then, they helped buy 800,000 people their freedom.

From 1808 the Royal Navy spent 60 years hunting slave ships at sea: 1,600 stopped, 150,000 people freed, and 1,600 British sailors dead, mostly of disease, buried thousands of miles from home. ⚓

In 1816 they ended two centuries of Barbary corsairs enslaving Europeans.

In 1896 a war that lasted 38 minutes ended slavery in Zanzibar. 🇹🇿

Almost every country on Earth outlaws slavery today.

That fight was paid for largely at British expense, by British hands.🇬🇧

So why haven't you heard any of this?

Because within living memory, someone rewrote the story. You got taught the crime. Not the cure.

The powerful exploited the world. They exploited their own people first. It was those people who ended slavery. 🇬🇧

The Restore Britain candidate for Greater Manchester mayor, Marlon West, has a daughter who is a rape gang survivor.

Marlon would often spend his evenings driving in search of his daughter until three or four am while having work the following day.

He often reported her missing to the police, who would sometimes turn up to his house many hours later. On one occasion he saw footage of the police saying not to bother even waking him.

A multi-agency risk management meeting was eventually convened with children’s services and the police’s Missing from Home team. While the meeting was ongoing one of the police officers in attendance told Marlon to stop reporting his daughter missing.

Marlon challenged this which resulted in the police officer shouting at him in front of all in attendance. The officer has since been dismissed.

The social worker and manager present did not intervene but privately acknowledged he was right to continue to report his daughter missing. They refused to launch a formal complaint against the officer.

After another missing episode Marlon was able to trace his daughter to a specific property. Despite repeated calls and reports of men entering the property both police and social services failed to remove her or issue an abduction warning notice.

His daughter was later found to be the victim of criminal exploitation, including drug supply, prostitution and being forced to dig up a firearm. These acts were directed by the older woman amongst others.

At this point the impact on Marlon was catastrophic. He was physically exhausted, anxious, depressed and lived in constant fear. He was attacked by masked individuals in his home with the police response delayed and dismissive.

Despite his repeated attempts to help his daughter, he has experienced many instances of violence from her as a result of the trauma and grooming. He has experienced many assaults, received black eyes and had to sleep barricaded in his room.

Marlon has since dedicated his life to stopping the rape gangs.

He has done more than any politician to fight this evil.
We are proud to back him to be the mayor of Greater Manchester, where he can end the rape gangs in the region for good.

Step number one, straightforward.

Illegal migrants gone. Every man, woman and child. Deported. I don’t care about the consequences. This is the most pressing issue, and a Restore Britain Government will tackle it with the enthusiasm it deserves.

We are the only party to lay out in excruciating detail exactly how we do it. 110+ policy pages of pure deportation joy.

Mass deportations. Real mass deportations. And we mean it.

Step two? Legal immigration.

Criminal migrants? Don’t even need to discuss. Gone. Day one.

If a migrant living in Britain can’t speak English, we will deport them.

How on earth can they contribute when they can’t speak English. They can’t, so they will be removed.

The only foreign language translation a Restore Britain Government will provide is the seatbelt instructions on their flight home.

Foreign nationals living in social housing? We will deport them.

British social housing should be for British families. Evidently, they can’t financially support themselves so they will be removed.

There is a pattern here.

If a foreign national is claiming benefits, they too will be removed.

Pay your way, and then some, or you will be sent packing.

Foreign Islamists spreading hate? We will remove them. Gladly. Those mosques found to be harbouring these extremists will be shut down, and those foreign nationals enabling it will also be removed.

There will be significant net negative immigration - FAR more will leave than arrive. FAR more. Those who do will contribute and integrate, providing high skills. Spouses of British men and women from non-red list countries will be welcome - that is positive immigration and should be encouraged.
