@SavCabSFW I liked her face and her voice, because I liked her VA and model. I liked her chemistry with Jack. And I liked her black suit very much as well.
@RatedLforLewd I'm not gonna tell you I'm the biggest Supergirl fan, but consider past Supergirls, like Melissa Benoist, or Helen Slater, and how she looks in the comics and Milly Alcock wouldn't be my first pick for Supergirl. I would cast Sydney as Power Girl, though. Due to tits.
@lushe3D This is some serious epic fantasy stuff. One part the Heavy Metal comic book, specifically the character Taarna, and one part Clyde Caldwell. That Ciri is award winning stuff.
@KarfexB Again, I have to say this is an industry wide problem in the AAA segment. Other companies manage just fine. Even then, Bioware are still responsible for the game they made. Like I said, Andrew Wilson didn't write Belara and Harding to be cringe. Bioware made a conscious decision.
@KarfexB You're right about that. It was John Epler's post here on X, my bad, but he has deleted his account since. Same as Corinne Busche, same as Trick Weekes. Only Weekes is now active on bsky.
@KarfexB You can find it all on Weekes' bsky, for sources. As for the rest, much like I can't judge Anthem over the roadmap that was never realized, or ME3 for the stuff it cut, I can't judge Veilguard based on things we didn't get. They made conscious decisions to release the game we got
@KarfexB No, no. Weekes went as far as to say that they could have made a different game, but it wouldn't be better. We'd still be getting the same shit, regardless. At some point, I have to give them credit for saying this is the game they were always going to make, and it's shit.
@KarfexB If Bioware can't make a better game than Veilguard, then they can't be mad about me not supporting them. If they don't like working under Bioware, plenty of Bioware devs left and even made their own studios. They should go.
@KarfexB Two things. I do care, and as I care, I don't support it. If the devs are OK with the game they released, and Veilguard devs said that was the best game they could make, Trick Weekes' words, then Bioware is accountable for the game they made.
@KarfexB If the remaining Bioware devs plan to milk EA for the next 4-5 years, until they finally release another flop, they can do it, and I have no issue with it. I don't have to buy it. They can get their money, and I am happy for them. But if the game sucks, it sucks.
@KarfexB Again, a lot of AAA companies do a better job at it than Bioware did. Andrew Wilson did take the proverbial pen out of Trick Weekes' hand and write 50k lines of cringe, or design the worst puzzle system in gaming, for the last 10 years. Someone did a bad job.
@KarfexB Again, that's not my issue as a consumer. If Bioware can't navigate their field, that's a Bioware management issue. Almost every AAA company has an EA like entity breathing down their neck, yet they do it better. At some point I have to admit Bioware is doing a bad job.
