Last week, a NW swell formed in the wake of Typhoon Bolaven and it all crested at the break at Mavericks. Some of the world's most renowned big-wave surfers turned up to join local stars like Luca Padua and Zoe Chait for one of the first big wave days of the season at Mavericks.
